Pros

Many individual high performers Majority of them 20+ years at the company Rich line & legacy of features Reasonably innovative Great set of co-workers in general

Cons

AutoCAD management is a sore spot. Top heavy, plagued by politics, lack of vision, lack of transparency Episodic & random layoff decisions every few years....poor choice of who is let go. Just announced 10% massive layoff in 2016, took everyone by surprise As a consequence, affects employee morale Bias towards tenured employees In other words, management really sucks

Pros

Decent work/life balance - a lot of people can work from home. Nice offices.

Cons

Lack of vision and direction from senior management. Vision from executive management can be too broad, and how it applies to the different business units is not clearly defined. This leads to a lot of ambiguity and confusion.
