      Smart and well compensated employees.

      Cons

      Smart and well compensated employees are often overlooked and layed off in favor of building a top heavy layer of management that does little to contribute to innovation or employee morale.

      Pros

      good work environment. work schedule can be flexible, I have my control over pace in work without feeling people are looking over my shoulder. most of the people are nice. work-life is somewhat balanced, even though every year there are a few months that could be really busy. 6 weeks sabbatical every 4 years is definitely a plus. generally compensation is pretty good.

      Cons

      not enough career growth opportunities, you do get recognized if you do a good job, but obviously it is not of manager's concern about your future career development. the whole company lacks the spirit of innovation, as one of the leaders in CAD/CAM industry, it seems the only way to develop its "own" technology is to acquire other small business.

      Good company, good guys! It sometimes appear to be different from rest of the Corporate America in the context that individuals are taken care of and work-life balance necessity is recognized. Pay and benefits are good. Company's strengths is in its Products. They are the best in the segment.

      Cons

      Company has grown rapidly but a number of useless creatures are holding good positions. This makes it a difficult place to deliver goods and feel satisfied! Career opportunities do not look bright once you are inside. Company's HR Policies, Marketing, systems still have a long way to go.
