Can't really think of any. When a company or a workplace's daily activities are governed by one's skin colour, nationality, ethnic background, religion, caste and language, that is definitely not a company to work for! I was asked about my caste, religion and ethnic background on the first day that I joined this company. Initially I thought that it was informal but later I was asked this question over and over again on various occasions by several senior management members including my reporting manager within this company in the span of a month. I found this to be shocking and disturbing. Never before in my entire career had I ever been asked such things openly in meetings and on the workfloor. This was the first red flag. I was openly insulted in front of the US and UK teams in several online meetings by a senior French team member who commented often on my intelligence. According to him, all Indians are incompetent and lazy. He openly used racist slurs. I will omit the actual racist slurs to keep this message sane. All these incidents happened over 5-6 months. This was the second red flag. I took this issue up with the HR and she merely brushed it aside saying that I was delusional. Wow! A HR professional telling me that I was delusional without even verifying the facts of the complaint. This was the third red flag. I raised this issue to the higher echelons of the management with adequate proof but there was radio silence on this matter. This was the fourth major red flag. The top management namely the co-founders openly condone such patent biased and racist behaviour. They emphasize on getting the work done even if an employee has to suffer such open racism, casteism and bias.
