Pros

- Good customer base - 2nd/3rd biggest company in RPA globally

Cons

-Nepotism ( There are different gangs within the organization - HQ gang , regional gangs , previous organization gangs )if you don't belong to any one of them you will soon be out - Casteism and discrimination on regional basis. I faced this and raised it to the HR no action was taken - Zero HR policies, HR has no say in internal matters of harassment or verbal abuse - None of the so called new products work at all which they claim are going to change the industry. Most of them are still in development while there are people who are selling them already. - Lies from top to bottom trying to rob every single customer which is to be delivered by their own teams most of the times - Verbal abuse is normal in this company and one is expected to get used to it. - No defined policies ( its expected from startups but not sure at 2500 if this is still a startup or not) but then no action is being taken to improve that either.

Hi - I'm so sorry to hear the disappointment and hurt in this review. Based on your review, it's clear that you feel we have let you down, and for that I want to apologize. We can't comment on ongoing investigations, but will dispute that "nothing was done" about the concerns that have been raised through our hotline and survey mechanisms. Your petitions have been received and are being handled with care and with professionalism. We'll also note that we have fired people for being abusive -- we don't condone this behavior and part of the reason we rolled out our global hotline was to catch and fix any and all instances where behavior wasn't aligned with the values we share. We can't claim to be "one team" if any member of the team (regardless of rank) is allowed to abuse other members of the team. Also, for the record, we never ask for or write fake reviews. If you have proof to the contrary, please post it and/or email me (px@automationanywhere.com) and please CC our CHRO (Nancy Hauge). Thank you for your review.

Pros

* Huge RPA market potential has investors salavating and investing big money into companies like Automation Anywhere and UIPath * Customers seem to need the product, because it helps them be more eficient * Fast growth result in career and learning opportunities * The company is changing rapidly, and I hope for the better * Recent hires gives me hope for the future, some very smart and capable employees here! * CTO and product development teams seem to have their stuff together. If not for them, I will be very very very worried. * Tons of promise and potential

Cons

* Nepotistic management ... four cofounders, two of them married!, all joined at the hip ... this needs to be cleaned up for the sake of employee sanity because the behaviors of at least two of the founders are terrible * CFO throttles business to a crawl with broken and buracratic processes, slow approvals, and cheap behaviors. CFO also plays power games and treats employees poorly by yelling at them and making them feel small. He kicks down and kisses up. Finance does not appear to be well run or and doesn't have high morale. * I struggled to get the equipment and software I needed to be productive, IT does not appear to be well run. It took me 4 weeks to get important meeting software set up and configured. * All operations teams (HR, IT, Finance, Facilities) seem to be bottlenecks to growth... they work hard, but don't appear to be staffed to affective levels. Insufficient seating for everybody. This is the CFO's work. * Marketing seems to be losing talent faster then they can recruit new marketers. CEO's spouse seems to be the real person in charge of that team, not the CMO. It is confusing who is calling the shots. Website is makes eyes sore and is a disaster. * I can't hear my own thoughts when working in the HQ. It is loud! We are packed like a call center thanks to poor planning and really bad seating chart and really cheap facilities policies. I work from home to get my real work done. * I am not so sure about the future value of equity after our big fund raising event of 2018 because the valuation was very high after that round. Current management team will not get us to 10x of the series A valuation if there isn't a big shift in management to realize the potential and compete against UIPath.

Thank you for the candid review. You touch on a lot of topics here, too many to address point-by-point, but I will say that (a) your perspective is valuable; (b) I hope we are able to make many of the improvements you suggest within your 6- to 12-month timeframe. Some of what you suggest is already underway, but we haven't yet communicated broadly about it. Stay tuned -- we hope to not disappoint.

Pros

Market Hype, Great funding, dedicated employees with a passion/desperation to keep this impossibly bad run startup afloat

Cons

Zero Innovation, Management has no experience in high growth tech companies. Corp Dev and business Dev has no respect and no interest in learning about market trends and how to work with partners. HR trying to counter with fake reviews is almost comical
