Pros

I had the pleasure of working with some of the most brilliant people in my career at AAI. Sadly, most of them have been laid off in favor of “yes” people and more men with “pedigree”.

Cons

I have nothing to add - previous reviews have all captured the cons in detail and accurately.

Pros

I guess there are decent health benefits options.

Cons

Terrible- basically, no- leadership. They hire some amazing people and don’t trust them and let them do their jobs. There is no emotional intelligence from senior leadership- they treat people really badly. They call at all hours, set made-up, unrealistic deadlines and expect that you will work all hours to make it happen. They literally justify it by saying “you signed up to work at a unicorn start-up” and “say goodbye to your families because this is what it takes.” Um, nope- I joined a 15-year-old company that’s just hitting its stride. It’s a well-funded fairly established company that doesn’t know what to do next. The leadership does not communicate to the staff, so there’s no strategy. (What they do choose to say no one believes anyway.) And no one respects process, so it’s near impossible to make anything happen. Worst of all, there’s a deep-set culture of bullying that starts with the C-team. There’s favoritism and narcissism and overall an incredibly unhealthy place to be. This company will demand the world from you and it will harm your physical and mental health. If you last a year you’ll be too burned out to continue and they won’t care. It isn’t worth sacrificing for them.

It is always helpful for people to read others' experience at a company. I'm sorry that your time was unhappy and that you feel a lack of EQ from the senior team - I will ensure they are all aware of this perception by one of our former employees.

Pros

Really, I don't feel there is anything that would be considered a pro.

Cons

First review I have ever done for a company I've worked at. And sadly, it's not a good review. I highly suggest anyone looking for a position in the RPA/Tech space to look elsewhere. Literally I could write a book or at least a very large laundry list of problems that plague the company, but I don't think that's very constructive. Just know it's a pretty toxic environment and for sanity sake I would stay away.

Thank you for sharing your experience, I would love to see the "laundry list." The only way I can help improve your experience is if you share the issues with me. Nancy
