ASI is two different companies. One is great to work for. One is awful.

Interesting technology, smart but humble coworkers, never get bored. It is challenging in a good way.
Cons
There are basically two companies: ASI and ASI Mining. If you're lucky enough to work for ASI, you'll have a good time. If you're unfortunate enough to work for ASI Mining, it is intensely stressful, you'll be traveling further, more often, and for longer times, and several people in ASI Mining management are actively antagonistic against the engineering group. You will not enjoy it. On the other hand, if you're in the "normal" ASI outside of Mining, this job is still one of the more stressful jobs you'll have. There's an assortment of challenges to be faced everyday, and you don't always "just know" how to solve them. That's good and bad, but it is reality. There's always a fair bit of pressure to get things done fast, even at the expense of doing it the right way. More than most companies.
