Pros
ASI has a great culture with highly motivated and highly skilled employees. I think it would be difficult to find a company with an atmosphere / culture that I would rather be a part of. Mel, the CEO, is very transparent with where the company stands and where it is headed. He makes everyone feel a part of decisions and changes focused on producing high quality products for our customers. Mel has gone to great lengths to create programs for employees to gain stock in the company and have a vested interest in ASI's success. ASI is located in a beautiful area between some hills and the Wellsville mountain range. The pay is good and it is relatively easy to balance work with family life. There is huge potential for growth at ASI and I am very optimistic we will be successful.
Cons
It is always a challenge for a company to transition from being more project oriented to being product oriented. ASI is in the middle of such a transition without the resources of a large corporation. This being said, I believe that leadership is adapting and making the changes necessary for us to get there.
