Pros

Sales team works from home office-when not in meetings, attending seminars, etc.

Cons

Favoritism, Management expects you to be dishonest to Dealers in order to squeeze more money from them, you'll get fired if you don't make your sales goal-I've seen many talented people fired! Or, the territory gets switched around so you have no prospects, past due A/R accounts that go against you, no chance to succeed!

Pros

In the past I would have had some Pros to post here. Unfortunately now I do not have anything positive to say.

Cons

Micromanagement to the max! Too much admin work, too many webinars, too much training, too much time out of the field. They will raise your goals and continue setting unrealistic expectations of the sales force. They operate out of greed. Only concern is squeezing more and more money out of their dealer clients. Management turns a deaf ear to feedback from their field sales force especially the veterans of the company. West Coast Director is one of the worst managers I have ever seen or worked with in well over 10 years.

Pros

Some nice reps and really nice trainers. Some of the other reps are amazing! When you travel (which is 2-4 times a month) they make sure you eat a lot. Some collections reps are super awesome and helpful. working from home is nice.

Cons

only certain reps get certain territories. the really good territories go to very specific 'types" of reps, seniority is completely overlooked for "certain type" reps. those reps are usually not sales people, never been in sales, do not know the auto industry...however they match the "type". sad but true. management has no rules to follow, so everything goes. what makes sense in real life is not happening with this management. The pay plan is always changing (2-3 times a year) it always is not in your favor. What i realized is there are 500 ways to fire you and not one reason to tell the truth (TTT) the slogan they tout. If you tell the truth no one listens actually no one cares.
