Thanks for taking the time to complete a review. We do operate in a high energy environment and are happy that you find Availity to be a thriving place to work. We are investing in learning and are glad to hear that you are taking advantage of the opportunities. Change can be difficult and sometimes agenda’s do need clarity. The good news is we’re working to provide tools (Speed of Trust, Crucial Conversations, Thriving in the Matrix projects) to assist our employees and leaders in adapting and continuing to thrive in our workplace. Please reach out to your Manager or Human Resources if you’d like to discuss in more detail. Thanks again for writing a review.

Pros

Leadership team is still fairly new and appears to be working very hard to do its best for this rapidly growing company, and right the wrongs of former management. Cultural differences among the 3 offices have been noted, and are being addressed. Great lines of communication throughout most places in this highly matrixed organization. Impressive efforts are made to really listen to employees and get them involved (compared to other employers I have had!), through activities like regular all-employee Pulse surveys, 360-surveys, quarterly all-company Town Hall meetings in all 3 offices, and periodic months-long org development workshops like Thriving in the Matrix, Disney Institute and Speed of Trust...all of which happened just in 2014!

Cons

Super intense and fast-paced company, with an unmistakable entrepreneurial spirit...not for everybody, as reflected in some of these comments.
