Pros
The people make the work environment amazing! They are not just my co-workers they are my second family. Recently the CEO started a non-profit organization called "AG Cares Foundation". The foundation is funded by the team members of AvantGuard and the company matches donations dollar for dollar . The foundation serves as an employee assistance fund to help out our team members when they fall into an emergent situation. The CEO, Josh Garner really cares about each and everyone of his team members. He monitors alarms side by side with his team members and has recently made an effort to meet with every team member that works for his company.
Cons
This company doesn't pay as much as other companies in our area, BUT we don't have to sell anything we only help save lives. It seems like in this world that doing the thing that matters most doesn't usually provide the best paycheck. I am okay with that.
