A great company but needs work.

Pros

A great shell of a company. The doctors are great and super qualified. It us a small company that allows you to do lots of differ things. You don't sit in one place all day.

Cons

Most supervisors need training. They are not meant to lead. They would rather be your friend. No communication is the major problem. They tend to tell you what you want to hear to get you back to work. Communication is the biggest problem.

Pros

Smaller lab allows direct training with the doctors, which are wonderful. Only day shifts. Exposure to diverse specimens, maybe 15-20% higher complexity cases.

Cons

Really really underpaid if you research other jobs in Dallas overall. Management needs work. Witnessed blantant favoritism. Little to no raises or bonuses even when company grew 30-40% in a year.

Pros

Gives students good experience in a laboratory environment.

Cons

Too much pressure is put on the accessioning group to make the job of the other departments easy. Lab group takes blame for mistakes made in billing department.
