Pros

Many opportunities to learn. Good stepping stone.

Cons

Engineers are expected to wear both white and blue collars. Combine that with the amount of travel and overtime expected means the engineers are underpaid... much above average responsibilities with very average compensation.

Pros

-great people -competitive salary -decent upward mobility

Cons

-New oracle ERP system is still chaos 4 months after implementation. -Issues with attrition and staffing -very conservative compared to other large manufacturing companies when it comes to workplace culture, diversity and inclusion, about 10-15 years behind.

Pros

Location. Location. Location. I live down the road and would have to travel further to take a chance that ALL publicly traded companies are just a variation on a theme like Avery where they care WAY more about the shareholders then they do their employees.

Cons

They Foster and Facilitate a passive aggressive hostile work environment where in order to keep your job you "know your place" . I have NEVER worked for a company I have thought less of or an insulating layer of non value added "Support" staff and a management team that were so clueless and incompetent . In my time here they taken everything they can from the workers on the floor at the bottom of the pyramid in order to add layers of made up office/ support/ management job titles . Now instead of "restructuring" they're trying to eliminate ALL overtime for the "bottom class" creating their very own class warfare within the company.
