      Strong work life balance but where are you going to go?

      Pros

      Opportunities to learn Six Sigma and Lean, individual contributors are autonomous in completing goals. strong leadership development opportunities for those chosen

      Cons

      Definitely a culture where there are the "chosen few" who get access to best resources and opportunities. If you are on the recruited leadership track all is great but if not the likelihood of advancing is not as great.

      Pros

      Pros: work life balance, fair compensation, nice people, can 'get the job done', people can have a career with Avery - opportunities to move and change jobs as they are so large.

      Cons

      Cons: leaders are good, but not as good as many - just not quite that cutting edge, but as said above - they 'get the job done' - it just seems there needs to be more than just that accomplished.

      Pros

      Benefits are good and pay was favorable. Many employees have been with the company for 20+ years and there was a good 'family' feel at the company. Very relaxed environment, good communication between mid and lower level management and employees.

      Cons

      Morale was low because of widespread layoffs, and it created a rumor mill and a paranoid environment. When positions were eliminated it seemed there was no consideration given to how the workload would be allocated.
