      Pros

      Good 401k Matching and Contributing. Advancement if you enjoy politics.

      Cons

      Cliquish and built around a Good Ol' Boys club. Lots of young professionals making bonuses for entrenched staff. New staff are hazed.

      Summer Fridays, end of year shutdown

      Cons

      This company has a very disorganized corporate structure. Extremely lean on staffing. Because of this even at Manager level admin work is a large portion of your job. If you ever go to HR for something they give you the run around. Very hard to find out information for where to go to for this or that. Also the intranet provides minimal resources. Even if you are promoted you will still be doing all your old work because they are to cheap to backfill.

      Pros

      Great work life balance! Genuinely appreciates their employees and provides them the tools to succeed. All employees I interacted with so far were great and very easy to work with. Many employees here have long tenure with Avery Dennison which can show that employees are treated well.

      Cons

      The pace can get slow if you just wait for the management to assign you projects. So learning to be proactive and paving your own way for advancement is crucial.
