Pros

Small enough to feel personal, yet large enough to feel job security as a contractor. Generous pay and benefits.

Cons

Still a government contractor, so there is always the associated administrative burden and uncertainty of contract renewal. Southern MD is not the most desirable location to live, but at least it's not the beltway...

Pros

Profit sharing, close and friendly work culture, clear objectives. Relaxed atmosphere, you aren’t just a number.

Cons

Don’t expect to get a promotion if you aren’t part of the club. If you have a good idea they’ll give the job to someone else to execute. Management made promises that they wouldn’t deliver on. Lower level employees are trustworthy. Leadership….not so much.

Pros

It is hard to put into words what a blessing it is to be working at ASEC. From day one I have felt like a part of the team. Everyone from the bottom to the top has been welcoming and helpful! I've never encountered such an amazing group of people that are positive, considerate, and willing. The job is rewarding and there is a great work to life balance. I enjoy coming to work! We work hard and have a blast doing it. They have a competitive compensation & benefits package, caring culture, there is flexibility, and leadership is engaged.

Cons

There are none worth mentioning.
