      Pros

      Avita health not only reflects their moto in caring for their patients but also in how they care for their employees. If you want to feel supported and part of a team, come to Avita.

      Cons

      There is always room for improvement and Avita pushes for that not only in providing care to patients but also as employees as well. No one is perfect but we can continue to try and raise the bar in the right direction.

      Pros

      I have been with AVITA (formerly Galion Hospital) since 2007 and have had the great opportunity to work with many wonderful people. The current department that I work in is simply awesome. We all get along; communicate well and have fun all while being professional.

      Cons

      Pay scale and PTO are always a con. When you hear about new grads making a few dollars less than you are when you have over 20 years of experience and you have hit the top of the tier... is rather disappointing and frustrating. The only pay increases you get are with annual reviews.

      Avita has a strong mission to improve the health and well-being of those we serve. This is something the CEO and leadership are extremely passionate about, and it shows through our patient experience scores! Every day is exciting and meaningful as we continue to grow.

      No company is perfect to work for. Any "cons" that are brought up by employees are looked at and adjustments are considered for improvement.
