      Pros

      I have been a QA team member at Avive and have had the privilege of bloom through the opportunities in my role with the company. The company as a whole is comprised of diverse personnel led by industry veterans that have proven success and openness to growing. The work environment is open and has flexible accommodations. The partnerships Avive maintains with various nonprofits, first responders keeps the team grounded in its mission to save lives and improve SCA response and AED access. In my time at Avive, top management has proven to value feedback and address it by delivering to the maximum.

      Cons

      Growing pains of clarifying departmental roles and implementing processes which ensure cross functional considerations and communications.

      Mission-driven work, inspiring co-workers

      Pros

      Super kind team; motivating leadership; really nice perks/facilities; lots of upward mobility as a start-up; mission-driven work makes things feel meaningful. Working at Avive genuinely makes me a better person. I learn SO much from the people I am surrounded by and always feel comfortable asking for help. The environment is solution-oriented and positive.

      Cons

      Small team so there are ALWAYS things to do/be done. If you are a clock-in/ clock-out type of person, who hopes to do the bare minimum, this probably is not the company for you. Also, as a start-up, sometimes the focus shifts quickly, and things feel like they are in flux, which I know is not an ideal environment for everyone.

      Pros

      Great team of hardworking people with an important common goal to help save lives. There is never a dull day at work.

      Cons

      There is a lot of work that needs to be done quickly, some people might consider this as a con since it can often become a high pressure environment.
