Would rate it zero but one is the lowest
Pros
Staying away would be an advantage
Cons
There is quite a lot of cons, so let’s get started: A small company Plascoat, also known as Axalta is a truly terrible place to work. The company’s professionalism and standards are close to zero. Shocking HR practices - there was NO interview process targeting a specific skill or competency (desperate for the workforce and not professional at all). I was asked to start my first day of work at their convenience because HR struggled to calculate my wages! No pre-employment checks conducted and so on… Lab management less than useless creating secretive atmosphere and not engaging with the team, pointless team meetings (projects not discussed at all), non-existing communication among the team. Very poor internal training; not followed by any standards. No one is responsible for the training (lab manager blaming others). Forget the progression. The senior staff is not supportive. A very tense, uncomfortable atmosphere among the team. Health and Safety are non-existing, serious incidents demonstrating the dangers (FIRE in the lab - people involved have not suffered any consequences). Office computers are very old and the smell of burning can often be detected. Conditions in the lab are very poor. Lab equipment is extremely outdated and unreliable. No investment is projected. No one truly understands all the methods in place, and any personal development takes a back seat. Bad culture and mentality (managers collude to manipulate staff, people suspended, heavy gossiping and jealousy among the employees in the whole company). Low pay rates, the company does not offer any benefits (bonus is not always guaranteed). Never worked in an organization witch such poor ethics. Kindly recommend staying away!
