Pros

Benefits Bus pass 16th street mall close (you will need to leave for lunch, trust me) A few cool coworkers

Cons

Everything else! Are you ready for this?? I worked for eFolder just under a year and thank God I am gone now. When I started, I was hopeful. New job, new industry, new stuff to learn. I have been in sales for over 10 years and I have adapted to changes frequently, so bad news, changes to comp plans, etc. never really phased me. I just roll with the punches. That being said, I cannot even believe how messed up eFolder is. I don't even know where to start, but I am going to attempt to paint you a pretty little picture of what it was like inside the walls of floor 39. My OTE was way lower compared to the industry standards. The company likes to celebrate worthless sales members who cannot close anything and then the company craps on everyone else. A few months ago we were told things were supposed to "change" for the better. Well. They didn't. At all. Leads weren't there, and as the overall sales of the floor decreased, the quotas increased. I had to attach my picture to my emails just to get a reply back! Deals will likely never close because the product is so awful that as soon as anyone tested it out at trial, the deal went to die. Most of the closers are completely worthless and couldn't even close lay down deals! They also act high and mighty and better than everyone else. Funny thing about that is, none of them hit quota consistently. Now lets talk about the sales floor vibe. Have you ever been to a library? Well a library is louder than that sales floor. I swear you could hear someone blink! We tried to bring music but then people complained it was too loud so we had to stay in complete silence all day. I would rather be on a date with a serial killer! Overall, the pay is awful, the leadership is awful, the closers are awful, the bus pass is cool, and the location is cool because there is pizza and Starbucks nearby. If you are considering eFolder as your next job, RUN AWAY FAST!!!! You can find pizza and Starbucks almost anywhere.

Great feedback here, and we take it seriously! The Revenue Team at Axcient/eFolder has spent the last few months reviewing quotas to be sure they are attainable in the coming year, and we are positioned for growth. We have dramatically increased our Marketing budget for the second half of the year and we have new sales leadership. A lot of changes have happened over the last 30 days, and our goal is to make sure that our team members are set up for success, and that they are proud to be part of our future as well as our past. Thanks for your feedback!

Getting to be insulting

Pros

All of the existing employees that have prevailed the last couple of years of sheer disorganization, salary freezes, the rotating door of executives (and TOO many to even list!), the workload, the disregard for our careers/interests/compensation/motivation/efforts ...the list goes on. Looking from the outside, it's like a tactic to MAKE US QUIT...it's really bording on total chaios and sheer mistreatment. Raises were supposed to be January 1. It's now April people! And with layoffs and new clueless exscs coming in we are doing the work of 3 people with absolutely NO incentives...not pay not even recognition, it's rediculous. eFolder...look at your 5 start ratings from older ratings!

Cons

You are now tending steadily towards 1's across the board. You have GOT to get this company together! People can only take so much

Pros

Very smart people, most are pleasant to work with, collaborative, and appreciative (at the lower levels). eFolder's initial culture was great.

Cons

The Leadership Team seems to have lost all reality that they actually have a company of over 150 people that have been working hard without any salary increases for over a year! Not to mention all the broken promises of Career Paths, promoting from withinin, process improvements ...the list is endless. They seem to be totally disconnected from their people- focused only on the merger with Axcient, trade shows, external MSP programs, and hiding in meetings. Now, still at the same low salary (btw we are very underpaid in this marketplace but stayed because we loved eFolder), we are being asked to take on the work of 2-3 additional people?? Unacceptable. You need to reward and have incentives for your talent to stay. The work just keeps getting piled on amidst change, chaios, undefined roles & responsibilities, new Executives that do NOT know our products, services, or even our organizational structure. They fumble through meetings with no organization or processes. The lack of attention, concerted efforts for process improvement, minimizing the change, and significant salary increases to make up for this will have people walking right out the door.

Thank you for the feedback. We are happy to hear you find our team smart, collaborative and appreciative. We have certainly spent significant time and effort to merge eFolder and Axcient and to build a strong leadership team. We agree there’s opportunity for us to improve our internal performance management and employee recognition processes and appreciate your patience as we work on a thoughtful plan to get better. We really value our team members and are committed to a positive employee experience. Regards, Suzanne Straub, VP of People
