Pros

Remote work offers flexibility, smart colleagues, quality journalism

Cons

Axios' culture used to be its superpower. Now, you'll face internal politics, lack of transparency, and a sense of being fed the same stock answers whenever employees raise concerns. At the same time, the company is investing in so many different places that the overall mission feels diluted.

Pros

Nice co-workers, good level of autonomy, reasonable deadlines

Cons

Some teams are completely overwhelmed with work, others have constantly shifting priorities and no foresight into future work. Shipping new products always takes priority over basic maintenance and managing tech debt. Moderate number of incidents and other interruptions to daily work.
