Fantastic Company to Work For

Pros

This is a company that strives to make sure everyone has a voice and the support they need. From weekly all-staff meetings to bi-weekly check ins with supervisors, Axios aims to ensure transparency of their vision, while making sure that everyone is on the same page. At the same time, employees are given a great amount of control and freedom (working remotely, etc) with the expectation that you will get the job done. It's the kind of environment in which I feel happy to go above and beyond because I believe in their vision and very much appreciate the fantastic work environment they have cultivated.

Cons

The after-hours work may bother some. I'm personally fine with it, especially given that we work in news, but I could understand if that could be a con for some people.

Thank you for that suggestion - we're working on augmenting our on-boarding process and that's a great idea!
