Could be great!

Pros

TASER has a fast paced atmosphere that many people thrive on, including myself. You don't get board like at the big box companies. TASER has considerably grown and is constantly trying to get to the next level in innovation and technology while keeping the pace onto greatness. This organization could be great!

Cons

As with all companies that experience exponential growth, there are pains. Unfortunately due to this relatively young organization and culture, the pains are not handled appropriately or in a timely manner and great people end up leaving. Some members of the management team do not accept the advice of others on how to minimize these growing pains.

Pros

I enjoyed working for TASER. I started off as a worker on the X26 line and worked my way up in the 10 years I worked at TASER. I always learned something new everyday. The co workers at the time was great to work with. The pay was not bad. Free coffee and soda. Work out equipment and showers. Great products that worked (I have exposed to the TASER products 7 times). All the higher ups were approachable. My name is Josh Durr

Cons

If you did not go to Harvard you most likely won't go far. I left the company because i had no life outside of work due to traveling schedule (traveling 3 weeks out of the month and some weekends). I asked to be moved to a "desk job". After a month of no talk about my move and seeing people (Harvard golden children) getting moved or Promoted to positions that were not open to anyone to interview for, I put in my two week notice.

Pros

- Co-workers (generally intelligent, motivated, caring people) - Access to leadership (they hold office hours, engage with employees, are accessible for advice) - Challenging work (our products help to alleviate the turmoil that's afflicting our communities today)

Cons

- Hiring (hire for talent as well as for cultural fit every time) - Succession planning (there are rarely clear paths for career growth) - Attention to detail (we want to move quickly like a startup but this sometimes means we don't check all the boxes)
