Pros

-Fast-paced environment -Working on products that matter and really do improve policing at a time when the world needs it -Awesome people- very smart and passionate (and fun!) coworkers -Great perks:lunch and learns, annual Grand Canyon rafting trip, renting out an auditorium for everyone to see Star Wars, awesome holiday party, etc. -Unlimited PTO and 20 weeks fully paid maternity leave (10 weeks for paternity/fostering/adoption) -No defined career paths, but I feel like I have unlimited room to grow here. -Work life balance is overall good. It can get crazy during certain points of the quarter depending on your function. Some departments are also severely understaffed which can result in long hours, but management is working hard to get everyone fully staffed, and it's getting much better. People generally respect your PTO. -$100/yr to spend on health items (gym membership, fit bits, etc.) - TASER truly cares about its employees. An employee recently passed away unexpectedly, and the company (and fellow employees) went out its way to help out his wife and newborn daughter.

Cons

-Growing pains: we are a rapidly growing company, and with that comes some challenges. There aren't defined processes or career paths, and priorities can shift (sometimes even on a daily basis). There can also be lots of fire drills as a result. I enjoy being able to help build process/procedures from the ground up, so I don't find it a con. I also have fun working under a bit of pressure. But for people who want to have procedures in place to tell them what to do every step of the way, TASER might not be the place for you. -I love that we are constantly bringing in young fresh talent, but I wish we would look at people from schools outside the Ivy League. It seems that some of these people are also put into positions they're not necessarily ready for, solely based on where they went to college.

Working for TASER

Pros

TASER has a fun environment and a good culture. The weapons sell themselves and is a known established brand. The company utilizes the creativity of its employees

Cons

While trying to be innovative, they have launched a product that generally across the board is unsuccessful and unreliable. While AXON and evidence.com are good ideas, they have been executed hastily and what comes off as carelessly. There is also a common theme of intensively rushing things too fast, rather than simply evolving the company rapidly
