Pros

The JBA group is tight nit and close.

Cons

They claim to teach and help you grow in the banking industry, but you are forced to teach yourself, while senior staff does their own thing.

The JBA program is meant to provide accelerated opportunities for exposure and learning, which is one of the highlights of the program. Analysts perform real, meaningful work and are given more responsibility than is typical for entry-level roles. The program is designed for those who want the opportunity to dive in and learn through hands-on work and are excited to tackle new challenges. Most analysts complete 3-4 rotations within the scope of the program. The most successful analysts are those that take the initiative to engage themselves in additional projects to help drive automation and efficiencies and can thrive in our fast-paced environment.

Pros

Axos Bank is a fast paced and meritocratic organization that prides itself on being streamlined and efficient. Personally, I love working at Axos because the company is very dynamic and I have experienced very little stagnation in my job duties since joining.

Cons

If you are looking for a static 9-5 where your job duties do not change, Axos is not the place for you.

Couldn’t have done a better job of summing up the Axos culture. We aim to hire the best talent and high achievers. We regularly recognize extraordinary efforts. Our compensation packages are competitive and comprise a base salary plus merit-based bonus paid out twice a year. As a meritocracy, Team Members can exceed their targets for truly outstanding work. Thanks for the review!

This has been a challenging time for most work environments. We are actively hiring to improve our Team Members’ work balance. Our daily and weekly planners provide a barometer in understanding where time is being spent, where we can improve the process and systems used, and to help us hire appropriately. We follow CDC and state/county guidelines and comply with all applicable laws and regulations to ensure that in-office work happens safely. We do not believe in policing our staff. As stated in our Mission, one of the areas where we work to continuously excel is the harnessing of data and technology to manage our business most effectively and efficiently. The development and motivation of our Team Members is also essential to the Axos Mission.
