Pros

Since day one, Axos Bank has been supportive, welcoming, and overall understanding with me as their new employee. The guidance and assistance I receive from the entire management team as well as colleagues has helped me become acclimated in my new role faster than I thought. As mentioned before, coming from a previous employer of over 20 years, it was a little overwhelming, but that did not last for long. I look forward to a long and successful career at Axos.

Cons

The only con I have is, I wish I could've applied sooner to be completely vested in the company without having to wait the 3-5 year timeframe.

Pros

Axos is an environment that will push you to challenge the status quo and constantly be looking for opportunities to improve and innovate on the work. This is a unique environment for entry-level/early career individuals because you have the opportunity to make an immediate impact with extensive opportunities for exposure and upward mobility. Management is open and excited to hear fresh and new ideas and people are generally not prohibited from executing and implementing change. Great place to work if you are motivated and want to take ownership of your own success and be in an environment that encourages growth and development.

Cons

No cons. Opportunities are not handed to you simply for showing up each day. Those who want an opportunity to work hard, prove themselves, and grow will find this an engaging and fruitful place to be.

Pros

If you are trying to gain banking experience and/or need a job with good benefits and some growth potential, then Axos may be a good suite for you. All departments operate differently but you have the opportunity to transfer from within if you actively seek out the position you want and talk to your manager to see if they'll help you transfer.

Cons

You will be overworked, no questions asked. If you are against the whole 9-5 mantra and despise sitting at a desk under artificial lights and being told to tackle problems for which you did not receive full comprehensive training for, then turn away and find work somewhere else. Axos also has a primitive way of doing pay raises, they only go in effect once a year. If you get promoted right after they submitted the pay raise reviews, you'll be taking on the higher workload for your new position but will remain at your current pay for about a year and a half until the next raises come in effect. If this isn't an example of dumb greed, I don't know what is.
