Pros

You might meet some nice people if you're lucky

Cons

Company shows complete lack of distrust of their employees and does not care about their well-being at all. Worst Covid-19 response ever. I've seen plenty of senior management walking around without masks on. Also, if you have health issues and want to work from home, don't think you'll get the opportunity because they will just procrastinate and hope you never bring it up. Management is not transparent about anything and lacks the basic communication skills. They will be rude and condescending and try and guilt trip you into staying instead of saying they are sorry to see you go and wishing you well. Company also doesn't take any accountability, but would rather point fingers. They will say they are hiring a lot, but forget to mention it's because the attrition rate is so high. In my short time at Axos, I've seen at least 8 people quit because of how unfairly they are treated. Company also fails to understand the difference between challenging and fast-paced environment vs unreasonable and unrealistic expectations. You will not be paid well and your hard work will go unnoticed. They also will not care if your health deteriorates due to the high level of stress. So think wisely before joining.

At Axos, we recognize that our most important asset is our team members, and we reward individuals on the basis of their achievements. Ours is a culture that challenges team members to perform at their highest level. Among the many ways we recognize positive contributions is by featuring profiles in our monthly internal newsletter of team members who embody the bold, disruptive spirit at the heart of Banking Evolved. The majority of positions we're hiring for this year are NEW positions, which speaks to our growth. We hope you're able to find a better fit.

Pros

Had several opportunities to work with many different departments and expand my knowledge in the functions of a Banker's role: from processing ACH transactions, wires, customer retention, SOX compliance, and daily account servicing for both business and consumer accounts, to learning sales skills and customer advocacy. I've seen many of my coworkers thrive and develop their careers. Friendly and Innovative work environment that promotes collaboration and teamwork to deliver great customer service. Experienced management in the consumer deposits team that promotes developing their workers and helps them achieve their professional goals. The skills you can learn in this department are advantageous to any role in the Bank.

Cons

Occasional software glitches that can cause temporary disruptions

Wow. We often say that we recognize that our team members are our greatest asset, and it's rewarding to see proof of that. What you've described -- a culture in which you and your colleagues thrive, develop your careers, and grow your skillsets -- is the kind of experience/story we're hoping to cultivate. Thank you for sharing this, and for contributing to our collective success.
