Pros

- You will learn a lot in a very short period of time - A great place to quickly skill up early in your career - High turnover rate means lots of opportunities for advancement

Cons

- No work/life balance. Expect demanding texts and phone calls after midnight - Culture of micromanagement - Expect to spend multiple hours every week filling out daily and weekly planners - Projects are purposefully given too little time - Distrust of innovation and process improvement - Poor COVID response. Mask requirements not enforced, social distancing not enforced, no proof of vaccination required. - High burnout and turnover rates

This has been a challenging time for most work environments. We are actively hiring to improve our Team Members’ work balance. Our daily and weekly planners provide a barometer in understanding where time is being spent, where we can improve the process and systems used, and to help us hire appropriately. We follow CDC and state/county guidelines and comply with all applicable laws and regulations to ensure that in-office work happens safely. We do not believe in policing our staff. As stated in our Mission, one of the areas where we work to continuously excel is the harnessing of data and technology to manage our business most effectively and efficiently. The development and motivation of our Team Members is also essential to the Axos Mission.

Pros

Very happy with my Mgr. He/She is always supportive, but is hands off. I've worked hard and generally feel appreciated (except on payday). Easy to advance fairly quickly - but this is due to high turnover. Many employees consider this co. a good stepping stone. Mgmt. seems to be OK with the turnover. Benefits are decent considering their cost to the co.

Cons

Low pay mostly. The high turnover can be a bit depressing if you make friends. No parking garage for my location. EV charging nearby, but it's public (expensive).

We appreciate your feedback. Team Members gain knowledge and experience here, with the opportunity to advance. With our meritocracy that pays for individual performance, our compensation packages are competitive and include a base salary plus merit-based bonuses paid out twice a year. Glad to hear you are doing well on your team!

Sorry to hear this. We believe our team members are our most important resource but at the same time we're a meritocracy: we believe in giving each person the tools to succeed, and encouraging them to aim high and thrive. For some individuals, this system does not provide the support they seek. Your comment about processes and procedures is something of a surprise because -- in all candor -- the enterprise-wide system we have implemented for maintaining, adding, subtracting and editing processes and procedures is among our stronger suits, operationally speaking. As for unclean facilities, it's hard to know what you're referring to. Our workstations and common areas are professionally cleaned each night.
