- Constant surveillance makes every day suffocating. - Managers scream instead of leading, obsessed with control. - Hours are extreme, weekends vanish, and goals are impossible. - Raises are rare and humiliating to ask for. - Training is nonexistent, yet blame comes easily. - The culture thrives on fear and disrespect, draining you fast.

Pros

Very intelligent C-Suite who I have faith in. A lot of the Senior leaders are very intelligent and I have the utmost faith that Axos will continue to grow for years to come.

Cons

Low pay for starting and middle management roles. Have to grind out ~5 years to really make good comp.

Mid-sized team, so you’re not lost in a giant corporate structure. Good work environment, especially if you want to learn design systems and stakeholder management and sharpen your prototyping skills. Competitive salary and benefits (401k match, stock bonuses, and employee mortgage discounts).

Cons

Banking is heavily regulated, so there are lots of compliance-driven constraints.
