Axos Bank

Pros

The work life balance is really good. I have been able to name my own hours for the most part, as long as it’s full time and your tasks are being completed on time. The benefits are fairly good.

Cons

The pay is low for the area. Management across the whole bank don’t always get along, which can make working and getting specific things done difficult. Some managers for this position are stricter about things such as schedule, dress code etc. The route for growth is highly political, and turnover his high for this role.

The JBA program is intended to provide accelerated opportunities for exposure and learning. Analysts are given more responsibility than is typical for entry-level roles. This program is designed for those who want to dive in and learn through hands-on work.

Pros

Most people are friendly here, have decent benefits and bonuses, the facilities are nice and the pay range is ok.

Cons

Very political here, pay raises are not the best, medical benefits are not that great, there is some toxicity and cut throatiness amongst teams due to everyone's bonuses being based off of their goals, there is a lot of backwards stuff that goes on due to the company's rapid growth, working long uncompensated overtime hours seems to be a norm for many.

At Axos, we seek to reward individual performance given our meritocracy to maximize personal growth and to provide ongoing opportunities. While teamwork and learning from each other are important, each of us is responsible for our own actions and our individual success or failure. We continue to review and enhance our benefits.

Pros

Good benefits and 401k plan

Cons

Micro management, no communication, restricted stocks instead of true bonus.

The upside potential of restricted stock units (RSU) is to generate wealth that an all-cash bonus doesn’t offer. Your receipt of a share grant is indicative of our desire to provide you with an ownership stake in the company.
