Pros

Coworkers were fine, for the most part, but there weren't a lot of opportunities for me to make connections with any of them due to how hectic work usually was.

Cons

Would not recommend working here due to the low pay and toxic work environment! Employees are overworked and constantly bullied by managers, and there isn't a lot of room to advance, either, so working here long-term isn't viable.

Worst Organization I’ve ever worked for

Pros

I really wish I had something good to say. I started here optimistic but unfortunately I can’t really recommend this place.

Cons

This place prides themselves on being innovative and collaborative, yet nothing about this organization is. The leadership is non-existent, on every level. If you have a question, be prepared to have your hand slapped down. From the moment you walk into the office, you can immediately feel the lack of life, enthusiasm, culture, and collaborative spirit. No one at all is excited to work - not even the people who get paid appropriately. They’ve already sold their soul and whatever bit of life they had. They demand 5 days in office yet engaging with any colleagues whom aren’t on your team or of similar status is frowned up and discouraged. The company is bogged down with middle managers who micro-manage every aspect of your day to day responsibilities. You’ll be taught one thing and then expected to do something completely different. Everyday. Half of the company is some level of VP - yet barely are. Everything is incredibly vague and undefined. For this to be a bank, is incredibly mind blowing. Goals? Never talked about, Mission statement? Just as vague. Direction? Who knows. The least you can do if these are things you’re willing to put up with, is go to an institution that’ll pay appropriate for the level of work/experience they ask for. Benefits are less than decent. “Bonuses” end up really being about $400-600. If you want a true soul-less 9-5, with absolutely everything you do under a microscope and under the eyes of Big Brother, while being paid drastically less than market rate for your experience, while getting absolutely no guidance, support, or mentorship - then this is the place for you.

Pros

Easy to get the job, they will hand it to you.. they don’t actually give you the 10% bonus. More like 2.5% the first year and then the rest vest over 2 years. Bear in mind, this is not stock vesting! This is the 10% bonus the recruiter says you will get as part of your salary.

Cons

Tracking your computer during work, badge check ins, and high turnover rate

At Axos, our bonus structure is merit-based, designed to reward individual performance and impact. Bonus targets are clearly communicated during the offer process and are tied to measurable outcomes. While the structure may vary by role, bonuses typically include both cash and equity components, with vesting schedules outlined upfront to support long-term alignment and ownership. Earned restricted stock units vest over a three year period, and earned cash bonuses are fully paid out at bonus time. We believe in recognizing contributions that drive results, and our compensation model reflects that. If expectations or terms were unclear, we encourage candidates and employees to ask questions during the hiring process. We remain focused on building a high-performance culture where effort and excellence are rewarded.
