No Morals - No Culture - No Values - No Hope

Pros

Good office location (better like it, you’ll be there 9-5 forever, 0 remote flexibility) Paycheck every 2 weeks Safe job (highest turnover I’ve ever seen so they literally can’t afford to fire anyone even If you sleep at your desk)

Cons

They don’t care about you - several dozens of covid cases that took days to hear about.. we’d hear on a Friday at 6pm that there were more cases. But when the CDC announces no masks we get an email 15 minutes later. Absolutely shameful, no morals, and that made me embarrassed to work for the company. Promoted with $0 pay raise, yep you read that right. I was promoted and got a $0 pay raise and was told it’d be re-evaluated in 8 MONTHS. 0 opportunity for growth. Extremely below industry standards pay, please do you research. On top of that 50% of bonuses (which you don’t get until 3 MONTHS after the review period, another joke to get people to stay) are in stocks you don’t see for 4 years. Extremely high turnover, marketing department literally 75% or more in the past year, similar in technology roles, makes it extremely difficult to succeed in any role with the bank. Instead of addressing turnover or making any of the slightest changes, they view it as “cyclical”, and hire juniors who don’t know any better. I couldn’t suggest the bank to anyone, unless this is your absolute last hope and you need to feed your family. Even in that case use it as a stepping stone and leave as fast as you can.

Management sucks

Pros

Coworkers are all young (which is a pro if you’re in that age group)

Cons

Management is terrible and keeps reorganizing the org structure every quarter. Nobody takes accountability for their actions and morale is extremely low. Pay is not up to market standard and you will barely make ends meet for slave labor. The bank is constantly falling apart because important people are leaving.
