Pros

Great company with competitive compensation and benefits; expectations are high, if you are ambitious and a self starter, you will thrive here; employees are truly rewarded on the basis of their achievements; ability to move around groups.

Cons

None that come to mind

Thanks for the feedback. We like to think that our performance-based bonuses (and commissions) are the ultimate form of employer recognition! We also feature an "AxKicker of the Month" in our social media feeds and in the monthly newsletter, but we'll give more thought to how we can structure a recognition program.

Thanks for taking the time to share feedback. You mentioned that the bonuses paid every 6 months are among the pros but also said pay could be better. Most team members have a nominal bonus target that they can hit by meeting performance expectations. But it's worth keeping in mind that this target is in many ways a floor, not a ceiling. In our meritocratic culture, we reward results -- which means team members who exceed their performance objectives can be rewarded handsomely in the form of bonuses that exceed the target.

Sorry to hear this, and especially sorry to hear you found our training programs lacking. It depends on the department, of course, but we have quite a few formal, comprehensive training programs at Axos. Our Junior Credit Analyst program is an immersive, rotational training program for early-career graduates looking to get their start in the world of finance. And our Contact Center offers an intensive training program for new recruits. As for our culture: we have a very distinct culture -- it's meritocratic and entrepreneurial -- but it's not for everyone. If you prefer being told what to do to taking the initiative to propose innovative, fact-based solutions, if you prefer 9-to-5 to putting in extra effort, then (a) Axos won't be your cup of tea and (b) you'll also probably miss out on the lucrative performance-based bonuses that can make working here extremely rewarding.
