Low Moral and Poor Management

Pros

The vacation benefits and sick leave. Employees are great. Management sucks.

Cons

Management only cares about making money and looking good. They could care less about the employees working long hours an being overworked. You get 2-3% pay raises annually for doing the job 2 or more people. Bonuses are ok but they’re taxed heavily.

Thank you for sharing your viewpoint. We are glad you appreciate our good vacation benefits and sick leave policy. We agree our employees are terrific. Like other publicly traded companies, we aim to provide an attractive return to our shareholders. That said, we’re about more than making money. Our mission is Banking Evolved: we believe in liberating people from the constraints of traditional banking. We’re disruptive, and we believe that success is earned. We offer a competitive compensation package that comprises a base salary and merit-based bonuses that are paid out twice a year (unfortunately, how much tax is withheld from those bonus payments is not our doing). We want you to succeed and grow at Axos, so please consider having a discussion directly with your manager about the issues that are on your mind.

Unique Experience

Pros

Within the Consumer Deposit Contact Center, you do not experience the same situations everyday. There is always a new opportunity to learn and develop. The team (management, supervisor and colleagues) is professional, fun and pleasant to work with. The management/supervisor team is dynamic, knowledgeable and resourceful and willing to help agents achieve department, organizational goals. You are able to communicate with management and supervisors without feeling like there is a closed door policy. Every body works together as a team to achieve individual and department goals. There is an opportunity to earn an hourly income and maximize your income with commission.

Cons

Generally speaking, there are some technical issues that employees and customers experience. However, these issue are resolved promptly.

Pros

Great opportunity for growing bank who is looking for new ideas and improvements. You get what you put into it, evidenced by bonus structure.

Cons

Since you are paid for your performance, often business units tend to work on what benefits themselves, rather than the organization. Culture should be to move the company forward, not themselves.

Thanks for sharing this valuable input. We agree that while personal contributions are critically important, our work is accomplished within teams. Teamwork is one of the six core values of our culture, and your advice is a great reminder for all of us to focus on the benefits of working as a team.
