Interview Process / I love it so far

Pros

Like many companies and big corporates you work for, there are many personal pros and cons. Its what you make of it! The interview process was smooth, applied online, received a phone call interview from one of the recruiters, did a personality assessment, had a 2nd phone interview, then in person interview all within 3 weeks. They offered the position to me about a week after a my interview in person. So far so great, learning a lot!

Cons

So far there are not much cons.

An Example of Awful Leadership

Pros

I am not sure what to write here when I had the most terrible experience with the leadership and the work processes.

Cons

Upper management is awful. They make terrible decisions and then push employees to handle the chaos they create. The processes are terribly complicated, too, and add to employee stress. Please beware of these hard facts before you join.

Banking is heavily regulated and often seen as inflexible, driven by the need to protect consumers and maintain a stable and secure financial environment. Any deviation from established procedures can lead to serious consequences, including regulatory violations, loss of credibility, and harm to the organization and its clients. This adherence to processes and procedures serves as a safeguard to maintain high standards and accountability at every level.

Pros

Very fast paced environment, you won't notice the time and those people who come and go

Cons

The actual starting rate isn't what management published, it was a lie! Workload was brutal and stressful, but get paid terribly! You only get benefits after your first year, but most can't reach that long, and the turnover rate is high!

Time does fly in this extremely dynamic and competitive industry. Our benefits begin the 1st of the month, after 30 days of employment and starting pay can vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
