      Free food sometimes, coworkers were great

      Cons

      Management is awful and will do nothing to help you. Turnover is insanely high and nobody cares. New techs come in and make more than people who have been there for years.

      Relatively laid back. Can listen to a podcast while you work, don’t have to interact with others if you don’t want

      Good services, good brand (GENEWIZ), strong commercial leadership (for the most part)

      Cons

      GENEWIZ leadership is defined by life-long GENEWIZ employees (most have only ever worked at GW, and have no real business experience outside of GW). The lack of experience makes for a very poor business plan that changes every ~6months Operations dictates business strategy (think- manufacturing team telling sales to sell more, and owning pricing, discounting, and any sort of negotiations).
