The day for my role was the only thing that kept me there. I was hired a year ago and after about 6 months could see the facade for what it was. First, my team was incredibly small and no one seemed to care. Yet we were expected to operate as if we had more people and more expectations piled on every other day. Corporate starting jumping ship in 2023 and 2024. The Corporate structure is an illusion. Money is constantly being wasted on ambiguous "perks" that no one has time to use. We got a foosball table and coffee machines but the techs don't make enough to live on. The HR department down plays the extravagant amount of turn over by blaming it on attendance and sicknesses. The truth is no one wants to work there because of the pay. There were 100 people laid off last month because the CEO promised the shareholders annual bonuses. People Azenta actually needed were let go with no warning except an ominous email sent out after hours about a "transition" coming. Profit is priority and Corporate doesn't care who they have to step on to get it. Vendors and other sites suffer because the the bills are not being paid on time. The town halls are a joke because nothing important ever gets done. It's just hot air and fancy words being spoken by people who already have too much money.
