Pros

Stock purchase program, WFH/Hybrid opportunities for some. Some good teammates that support each other despite toxic and deceptive senior leadership.

Cons

Management has no leadership skills in many departments. Silos intentionally built to disrupt clear lines of communication across functional groups. SMEs are not utilized properly, many single points of failure. Field based groups are in shambles. Finger pointing and assigning blame is a standard practice in the sales/service organizations. Good field and support people are stifled by inept management. Work/Life balance is preached but not practiced. 40 hour work week is a myth here.

Pros

Remote work for a time was a nice perk. It morphed into the expectation to be online 24/7 but originally it was normal hours.

Cons

I eventually left because of the unbearable toxicity that began to fester within the department. The lack of respect, lack of professionalism, and lack of respecting personal/professional boundaries in the end was astounding. I regret joining Azenta.

Pros

Flexible PTO, Work from home.

Cons

- ZERO company culture - Zero recognition for any type of contributions or achievements. - Zero engagement with employees. If you want to grow, this is not the place for you as the company doesn't invest in talent and does not value voices outside of leadership. I understand that change must happen when a company rebrands and becomes a stand alone life sciences company, but during my time, there was no transparency or sharing of plans from leadership. I moved around different teams with no real direction. I asked for ways to grow in my career, and my supervisor couldn't provide me with concrete opportunities or ways to advance. There are far too many people involved in projects, which leads to nothing being accomplished or the project becomes irrelevant due to timing. If you are someone that just likes to put your head down, take orders, and thrives in an antiquated environment, this company could be for you. But, if you want your voice to be heard, love contributing and tracking real results, you should look elsewhere.
