      BAE Systems EIS is a very nice place to work. The people are great and the company is genuinely interested in your career progress.

      Working on client site 100% of the time makes some feel disconnected from the overall company. It would be nice to have more opportunities to mingle with corporate

      Pros

      Pay and benefits were good. Some of the people were technically excellent and actually dedicated to the stated mission of "Protecting those who protect us." even to the detriment of their own careers. Islands of absolute professionalism.

      Cons

      Bureaucracy and egos seemed to dominate in middle and upper management to the detriment of the company and those working under those levels. A sea of inertia and frankly a "good enough for government work" attitude seemed to surround a few bastions of dedicatation and professionalism. To top it off, there was a pervasive arrogance that the customer (primarily DoD) could not go anywhere else for the products that they needed, extending not just to the sophistication of the products being offered but the quality as well.
