      Not too bad overall, but could be better....

      Pros

      I work at a small site, and the people at the site are great. Even when I have to deal with other people on the other side of the country, it's not too bad. The profit sharing scheme is reasonable. Not too sure if other defence related companies have something similar, but it's not too shabby, for nothing.

      Cons

      The way the company does business. There are too few good people in middle management, and they are pushed into positions where they have very little influence. The way the company treats people who don't see eye-to-eye is disgusting. Fiddling with people's pay increases and performance reviews is not on! Pull your finger out of your arse. It's not the way to treat people.

      The company is offering flexible working hours and Off-Fridays schedule (9/80). The company also has a good health benefit plan and compensation package.

      Cons

      There are some disconnects in communication between senior management team and employees, This company has so many re-organizations in recent years such that we as employees sometimes don't even know who we supposed to report to.

      Good pay, flexible (but long) hours, pretty good physical plant, convenient location (for me), pension which has now been discontinued

      Cons

      Pension has been discontinured, chaotic, insane workload, long, long hours, cafeteria opened very limited hours and not for an evening meal, which would b enice because so many of us work into the late evening
