Pros
It was a steady pay check.
Cons
Management constantly had bad news and said we were constantly at threat of losing our contract so there was always this moderate-to-high level of anxiety at our customer site. Corporate was really clueless about how to keep our customer happy, seemed almost angry that my customer always seemed exceedingly happy with the level of service I provided, and never wanted to pay me what I was worth. I discovered I was making 50k less than male co-workers with the same (or less) education and qualifications as I was and when it came time for raises, they always made us feel like we were fortunate to get tiny, incremental raises when we knew they were taking the lion's share for management and the CEO. Finally, management refused to acknowledge there was a problem between two employees and let one bully another. They ignored the problem until the situation spiraled out of control. In essence, creating a hostile and very toxic work environment.
