Flexible Schedule with Subpar Salary & Horrid Management
Pros
-Flexible schedule -Benefits are decent -Low stress
Cons
-Worst management I've seen in my career, as close to non-existent as imaginable. Primarily working remote, occasionally onsite with their office doors shut the entire time. Zero response to emails, phone calls, IMs. I have seen my manager five times over the past year. -Little to no work available. -Nonexistent recognition for your work. Put in hours of hard work of your own initiative to improve a process or solve a problem? No one cares. -Below market salaries. Push as hard as you can for your base salary because afterward the company only gives 2-2.5% raises every year. While it is a low stress job, it's incredibly demoralizing to work here. You're just a cog in the machine with no opportunity for advancement or to be recognized for taking initiative. No surprise there's a high turnover here.
