Pros

BB&T is one of the best banking institutions to work for. The company is committed to being known as the "Best Bank in Town"

Cons

The pay is not as great as you could find with other companies. Also the fact that they are only located on the East Coast make relocation difficult

Pros

Our values are reflected on our earnings and client survey scores. We have big bank products and service like community banks.

Cons

Technology is not our forte. We are behind the curve on website and investment website compared to peers and other banks.

Pros

The company has personal integrity and teaches this principal first above making a profit. The perfect client experience is the foremost teaching taught throughout the bank. The company is also very involved in the communities where offices are located and encourages employees to volunteer in the community by providing limited time during working hours to participate in volunteer activities.

Cons

As with most large companies there is a political side. If you can deal with the policitcs of how promotions are determined, you will have no problems.
