Pros

Benefits are pretty good and there is decent work life balance. There are a lot of great products for clients and promotions are always going on. Management is very accommodating if you need to leave for personal or business appointments. The FSA role gives you the opportunity to obtain life and health, series 6 and 63. Great position if you are looking to get into wealth or advising.

Cons

Way too many systems. You have to go to different places to handle each task. Things are constantly changing with hardly any communication. There is not a lot of room for growth. A lot of the senior management is coming from Chase so the culture has increasingly become high stress and micromanaged. There are so many different focuses and it is a very high pressure environment. If you are not very very good at sales, you will struggle. You need to be able to turn service into sales. Additionally the pay is considerably low and the incentive plan is terrible. This is not a good place for a seasoned banker.

Pros

Our branch has fantastic people to work with, good benefits other then health insurance, many paid holidays throughout the year

Cons

Corporate pays no attention to what's going on, staffing levels keep getting reduced putting more and more work on the already thinly stretched staff, sales goals are ridiculous and getting worse all the time, micro-managing from the upper management is out of control, constantly adding more and more duties with less staffing and no more pay, health insurance is really expensive and still not even good, Computer systems are AWFUL, always going down. Customer service at the call center is terrible and they tell the customers incorrect info often. Online banking platform that is expected to be pushed so hard down the customers' throats is terrible and isn't working more often then not.

Pros

Good benefits, paid vacation, paid sick, 401k matching, paid holidays, good co-workers, some opportunity for advancement

Cons

Advancement increases aren't great, management goes out of their way to give as little in merit increases as possible, fairness of pay isn't an ethical consideration(i.e. new inexperienced person can get paid more than current experienced people of same position), management doesn't care about anything but sales, poor management, trying to go digital in a smallish country city means overwhelmingly understaffed.
