Pros

Competitive Salaries, bonuses (higher bonuses given to management), benefits, vacation time is average for the industry, perks like free lunches and out of town dinners

Cons

Politics, nepotism, favoritism, long hours of over 80 hours per week and weekend work, understaffed (low staff to management ratio), no work life balance, over 50% travel, lack of respect & fairness towards staff level employees, sexist environment (fewer women in management and partner levels), lack of diversity in workforce (mostly caucasian employees), inconsistent management across offices (no central firm-wide management), partner and management in-fighting, partners are unsupervised and there is no accountability for their actions.

Pros

Great Pay and benefits, the company treats it's employees very well. You are able to move up if you exceed and the firm is quickly gaining on the big 4. As an intern, you mostly work directly under the main supervisors and shadow their activities and tasks. They pay excellent (pro-rate of full-time employee) and you are treated as an equal unlike some other large companies I have worked for in the past.

Cons

As with most large firms, hours can be long and work can be tedious, but otherwise no objections. Keep up the good work and let you're people continue to grow.

Pros

Small atmosphere and helpful staff. Sometimes work was slow and there was nothing to do. Coworkers were friendly and helpful. It was a good learning experience. IT and technology was very impressive. The company had a nice flex program and gave lots of opportunities to work from home. Networking was easy. Lots of young people to work with. Upper management was easy to reach and accessible.

Cons

Lots of travel. Be prepared for fluctuating hours. Sometimes role was unclear. In this office, diversity was low. Not many minorities employed at all. Salary was a market rate and was not anything special. Career promotion track was typical of any public accounting firm.
