Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you appreciate the benefits we offer at BECU. Supporting our team members with strong benefits is a core part of our commitment to creating a positive work environment. We also want to acknowledge your concerns about the changes you’ve observed and the feeling that we might be drifting away from our vision and community-focused roots. Change can be challenging, especially when it feels like it may impact the values that make an organization special. Your input is important, and we deeply value the connection to our vision and community as central to who we are and what we aim to achieve. Your feedback serves as a reminder to continually reflect on how our actions align with our mission and to ensure that we’re staying true to our values, even during times of change. If you have specific examples or suggestions, we’d love to hear them so we can better address these concerns and reinforce our commitment to the member and community-focused culture that defines us - please ensure you share with leadership, People Business Partners, and other feedback mechanisms at BECU. We appreciate your honesty and for being part of BECU. Your voice helps guide us as we move forward together.

Pros

Ok pay and benefits. That's really it.

Cons

Difficult goals to reach bonus. Management is feckless and two faced. If you get behind your goals they give you more and more busy work, putting you further behind. Micromanaged to no end and they will fire an entire branch before they admit the flaws in how business is done! Horrible hours. Zero work life balance.

Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback. We understand how difficult it can be to share concerns, and we genuinely appreciate your perspective. We’re glad to hear that you find the pay and benefits satisfactory, but it’s clear that other aspects of your experience have been deeply frustrating. We want to acknowledge the challenges you’ve described, including the difficulty of achieving goals, the impact of management practices, and the lack of work-life balance. These are significant concerns, and we understand how they can contribute to feelings of dissatisfaction and burnout. Your advice to management highlights an important opportunity for growth and improvement. Reinforcing employees’ strengths, addressing workloads thoughtfully, and ensuring leadership is equipped to support their teams effectively are areas we take seriously. Feedback like yours helps us reflect on how we can create a more supportive and productive environment, and we will ensure that this is shared with the appropriate leaders and channels. We value your input and remain committed to making improvements that benefit both our team members and the organization as a whole. Thank you again for your candid feedback. It’s through voices like yours that we can identify meaningful changes to foster a workplace where everyone feels valued and supported.

Pros

The pay is great and remote work.

Cons

The quality scores are ridiculous to obtain and hit the goal, especially if a customer is upset. The adherence is also ridiculous you can’t adjust a break time or lunch time if you get a call that makes you late to either.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We truly appreciate you taking the time to highlight both the positive and challenging aspects of your experience. We’re glad to hear that you find the pay competitive and value the opportunity to work remotely. Ensuring that our team members are fairly compensated and have flexibility in their work environment is something we strive for, and it’s rewarding to see that reflected in your experience. That said, we understand your concerns about the quality score expectations and adherence policies. We recognize that maintaining high standards while navigating customer interactions, especially challenging ones, can be stressful. Your point about the rigidity of adherence, particularly when unforeseen circumstances arise, is especially valuable. We hear you and acknowledge the impact this can have on your day-to-day work and overall well-being. We’re continuously working to find the right balance between maintaining operational standards and supporting our team members. Feedback like yours helps us evaluate where adjustments might be necessary to create a more supportive and flexible environment. If you have specific suggestions or examples, please ensure you are engaging your leadership, People Business Partners, and/or employee engagement channels. Thank you again for your honest feedback, we’ll ensure these comments are routed appropriately.
