The onboarding process is extremely long and disorganized. I could only input 2 out of 4 references at a time. The type of references and which was meant for what person was very unclear. Then I was told by an HR rep that it was done incorrectly. When I tried to explain what I did & how I did it, the HR rep didn’t listen at all. She kept reiterating what SHE was saying. That solved nothing and further frustrated me. Then I received a call two days later that my job offer was rescinded. I wouldn’t recommend this ministry to anyone because of the level of disorganization & unprofessionalism. It’s clear to me that BGE would fire anyone immediately who would question procedures on how things should be done.

There is a lot of control over the way ministry is done here to the point that it can feel rigid if you don't share the same non-essential convictions.
