      The company continually hires outside talent instead of promoting from within -- discouraging to those who have earned the possibility of promotion.

      Salary, benefits, the intent of the company to make it a better workplace. Commitment to do things safely.

      Cons

      Culture of haves and have-nots; either management sees you as a superstar or a nobody and no amount of work, or lack thereof, will convince them otherwise. Entrenched bureaucracy-lots of managers hide behind it. Despite the statement otherwise, speaking up will cost you. Have lousy manager, problem is known and nothing is done about it.
