Pros
Compensation although this has reduced in recent years, benefits (good car allowance, pension contributions, private healthcare)
Cons
Product issues, amount of time spent 'fixing' issues for clients, sales culture, sales management, have no idea how to run a SaaS business, compensation declining, targets rising, double bubble payments to people not involved in deals, political culture, ethics, lack of new business - relying on renewing large contracts as products don't stand up against competition (ServiceNow, App Dynamics etc...) when selling to a new customer. Massively high turnover within the sales team especially of the top performers.
