      It's an okay place to work...

      Pros

      BNYMellon offers some flexibility to help you mange your work/ personal life. Also has good benefits and most of the people I work with are genuinely good people.

      Cons

      Pay is average at best. Although the people there are good/nice etc., most of them are not competent. That includes some of the supervisors/managers. It is hard to work for someone that isn't as good at their job as you would be.

      Pros

      The benifits are ok compared to other companies.

      Cons

      They are moving jobs to India as fast as they can. They do not wish to keep positions here in the states. Senior managment does not communicate. Decisions are never made timely. The keep putting them off and changing thier minds.

      Pros

      Great benefits: Health, Dental, & Vision plans. Pre tax health flex spending, metrocard, & child care deductions. Full 401K match up to 6% Managers are good with work/life balance (at least in my group). Not too much work to be done. Very simple jobs. Mostly friendly coworkers & good atmosphere.

      Cons

      Advances are almost impossible because the managers are very "clicky" & if you aren't part of the "click", you do not get noticed - no matter the job you do. Very low salary in relation to other companies. Very low increase in pay. (0% in 2009, 2$ in 2010 on average). The work can be very boring with long days...
