Good place to learn for freshers, bad place to stay because of growth staganation
Pros
Very very friendly and lively coworkers, lots of things to learn from others while on the job. As an employee, you will get engrossed into the product development so much that sometimes the management complains about too much noise coming from the workplace. BQE is gradually evolving into a company where some standards are followed in software development, compared to the siloed methodology followed my most software companies based in Kashmir. The new generation of employees are well versed with what they are doing, and given the right timeframe, BQE will come up with a revolutionary new product and will make Kashmir proud.
Cons
One word: Exploitation Software developers deserve some respect. The base salary for a fresher is bare minimum to keep someone from running away thinking what I am doing with my life living on such low wages. I don't know what motivates someone to agree to such a low salary, maybe it's something to do with employees wanting to stay in Kashmir due to some reasons. That's the USP and the business model of BQE, it's based in Kashmir, and it gets attracts top talent for peanuts. Although there is a salary increment annually, it's offset by the extremely low starting wages.
